 Working Principles

 When the main motor is activated. The centrifuge bowl and the planetary gearbox will be driven via a pulley and drive belt configuration. Once operational, the rotating direction of the centrifuge bowl and the spiral conveyor is same, but the speed of them should be different, it depends on the gearbox ratio, bowl speed and the pinion of gearbox speed. When the centrifuge is running at full speed the mixed liquid with suspending solids will be passed through the feed tube to the rotating spiral conveyor and to rotating bowl. Through the action of centrifugal forces the mixed liquid is separated easily into heavier solid deposits on the inner walls of the bowl and less dense liquid will be on the rotating central portion of the centrifuge. With the continuous action of material input, the level of separation achieved is much higher. During operation, the spiral conveyor continuously transports solid material towards to the conical end of the centrifuge, after which the material is deposited through a series of discharge ports. Any liquid overflow from the liquid outlet housing is contained via the regulating plate dam at the column end of the centrifuge.
